Americans for the Arts supports 6,000 members in arts administration, public art & civic design, arts education, and more. This year, I started a campaign to encourage new members to join and take advantage of our professional development, research, and advocacy resources. Online Advertising: ArtsVote 2020
One of my favorite parts of my job in 2020 (and one of the few things keeping me positive!) was promoting our ArtsVote 2020 campaign. Americans for the Arts is affiliated with the Arts Action Fund, a 501(c)(4) that mobilizes citizen activists to advocate for arts-friendly public policies at the local, state, and national level.
Our ArtsVote 2020 campaign reminded arts activists and voters in 19 swing states about their upcoming voting deadlines. With many voters using mail-in voting for the first time and states having complex and firm deadlines, it was important for us to educate arts activists on how to make their vote count. We reached 4 million voters, overperforming with voters 35+ on Google and 18-24 on Facebook and Instagram. We also saw impressive click rates with our first-ever series of Spanish ads.

Online Advertising: Invasive Species & Hunting
Featured are ads from several digital campaigns at Texas Parks & Wildlife, using Facebook, Google AdWords, Yahoo, and mobile app advertising.
- The first ad is a Facebook newsfeed ad encouraging hunters to enter for the chance to win an exclusive hunting trip.
- The second and third ads are from a public awareness campaign, encouraging boaters to “Clean. Drain. Dry.” to stop the spread of invasive zebra mussels.
